XBOX Innovation: Exploration in Interaction
The XBOX Innovation group was looking to explore alternatives in how the system interacted with users in a family scenario and offering an alternative to the typical grid style system currently found. The system was not launched but was merely used as research in interaction.
Codenamed "Macbeth", this project was a fun exploration of user interaction with gesture controls. Our team worked with the XBOX group on a daily basis to define how the experience would work and develop custom software and gestures and voice controls using Kinect.
